Title: David came home early and...

David came home early and took Itchy away this afternoon. Itchy was feeling really bad, and hardly moved all morning. I tried to talk to him some but he told me he was feeling very sick and needed to sleep. So I stayed on the bed with him and he slept.

He came back home about 7:45pm and he seemed a bit chipper. David fed Itchy a bunch of times, which was just unfair! How come he gets to eat and eat and eat?

Title: This weekend was horrible...

This weekend was horrible! I felt so bad and had no energy. David kept me company most of the time and he and Donna were crying a lot. I wish they would not do so. I can accept my fate if I must, but I still have control over my destiny, and as long as blood pumps through me I will fight to remain. Besides, if I left who would take care of everyone? Orion? I don’t think so!

David took me to the doctor today and I was given a lot of water. I hate having it put in my skin! Damn needles hurt! I overheard David and Donna and the doctor talking of me getting the water and needles at home now. *sigh* I know I need it, it does make me feel better, but can’t they do it in a less painful and intrusive way?

Hamlet does not know it but David will be taking him to the vet in the morning. He may have a bad tooth and also needs a cleaning. HA! He laughed at me when I had some teeth pulled a while back. This will teach that old Hamlet!

Each year about 10 million cats and dogs end up in U.S. shelters; 5 million will be put to sleep. That's one cat or dog every 6.3 seconds.

Each dog and cat is guilty of failing to find a loving home; but you can make a difference. Support TNR, adopt your next pet from or support a no-kill shelter.
