He still has diarrhea! He has not had one solid stool since the surgery. Sunday evening he managed to bite up one of the staples, so the vet wrapped him in a special bandage for us Monday morning (we do not want an ecollar). He managed to wiggle out of it on Wednesday evening then removed a staple! The vet was not too concerned over one staple, and told me to put the ecollar on Itchy. Nope, I instead put the wrap back on and we have been carefully keeping an eye on him. Be managed to slip it down rather low last night and has worked a few staples loose again. *grrr* So I called the vet this morning and will see if I can take him in this afternoon to be rewrapped fresh. I went to the kitchen and found that they left a frying pan on the stove for me. How nice of them. So I naturally helped myself to the greasy goodness that spotted the pan. Yummy. While I was licking the wooden spoon used to stir the veggies that was originally cooked in the pan, I knocked it over. David must have heard that and he cam out to check on me. He was mad too. He yelled “no” and “Bad Hamlet”. I tried to explain I was thankful to the pan, but did not mean to knock the spoon on the floor. But he was really mad. He took the pan and spoon away and put them in the sink, then left the room. After looking around a bit I saw that they lest me a bag of tortilla chips out on the counter. They can be so nice sometimes. Sadly they forgot to open it for me, so I did the best I could by biting through the plastic. I had managed to get a good helping of the chips out on the floor and ate a bunch when David came out. He was really mad this time. He chased me off and was cursing a lot. I assume he was mad that I ruined the plastic, but hey I have no arms and hands! Leaving me the food and then getting mad for opening it the best I can just sends me mixed signals. He really should take anger management classes! Author: Leo
Title: Last night David and Donn...Last night David and Donna brought me in the bedroom with Hamlet and Itchy and we all watched TV. Itchy did not seem mad at me, but preoccupied with some kind of bandages wrapped around him. I was happy to be in there after so long too. I thought that meant I was going to be sleeping with David last night, but they took me out later and I had to sleep on the couch again. I really miss sleeping with David! |
