Title: David has been locking me...

David has been locking me in the computer room with Orion and Nova a lot in the evening. He seems annoyed that we all try to get some of their dinners. Orion hates going in the computer room when he knows there is salad out there. Andromeda seems to like the stuff too. I think it is vile personally, at least if there is not dressing on it.

Sometimes I think that David does not like me as much as he used to. I remember before we moved he would spend a lot more time with me, on the couch, by the computer and on the bed. Now he is gone more of the day and kicks me into the computer room in the evening. I miss having all his attention. I think even Leo notices David is spending less time with us. I wonder if he likes Andromeda, Orion, Apollo, Nova and Calliope more.

I played a trick on Andromeda last night. I opened the cabinet door and let her into it. Then it closed and she could not get it opened more than a couple of inches because it has a child lock. Not a very good one, since I know how to open it! But she could not, so I sat there and watched her push it open a couple of inches and try to squeeze out. She did that over and over and over. He he he.

Title: David took me to the vet ...

David took me to the vet again yesterday where they stuck me in the back again with that needle. I am starting to get braver now and fight more at the vet’s office. I figure if I can make a huge fuss and really annoy them, they will not think it worth their time to poke me like that.

I climbed up the stairs to the upstairs bedroom the other night. I like to go up there, it makes me feel important. David and Donna say I look proud when I climb the stairs and get in the room by myself. I like to lay on the bed up there sometimes. It is a nice room and usually the others are not around to bother me, except Calliope, and she does not mind me there.

The new camera by my window bed look strange. David says I am just used to the old one. This one sometimes makes a slight hum. I think it moves some. At least I look better on this camera, or so I am told. From what I know, David intends to replace the outside camera by the feeders next. He said people will be able to pan/tilt the view and see a lot more and more clearly too. I hope he fills the feeds so people can see more birds. David said he does not like filling them if there is natural food around. He says the birds and deer get too dependant on people and that they lose their fear. He explained to me why that is bad, though I think having a free meal is good, and I think David and Donna are good and I am not afraid of them.

I hear that I will meet Patsy and Russ in a couple of months. I know they look at our website, but I have never talked to them. I have seen Lola though. I wonder what Lola will be like? She can share my warm window bed if she wants.

**Note from David: Leo does not know that Lola won’t be coming on any USA trip with Patsy and Russ. The is used to going with us on our trips and he thinks it is a given that others do the same.

Title: I still sometimes have a ...

I still sometimes have a hard time fitting in with the other cats. Apollo will play with me now, but sometimes he gets upset and screams when we play. Andromeda always screams and hisses at me when I try to play with her. I try chasing her, jumping on her and pawing at her to get her to play and she just gets really upset.

Calliope gets as upset if not more when I am around. I try to chase her and she screams and runs. Most of the time she runs to the tree house. I’ll give chase sometimes and get on top and try to get her to play through the openings, but this just upsets her more, and Donna and David get upset too.

Hamlet does not run form me, but if I go near him he growls and tells me to stay away.

Orion likes to chase me sometimes and we will play sometimes. Other times he likes to beat up on me.

Leo does not mind me. I try to play with him sometimes, but he does not like to wrestle, so I give up.

David says my fur is thinning some now. He thinks it is spring and my coat will get thinner till end of the summer, then get really thick again.

I miss being outside in the wind, fresh air and where all the birds are. I like to look at it all out the window and if David opens a window I can smell the air.

My nose hurts now. I have a cut on the side of it. Donna cleaned it last night and that stung. David told me “That’s what you get when you try to play rough”.
