Title: Warming up to the family, very slow process?7-26-10 Ok so Maya is new to our family and it's been just 6 weeks she doesn't like us petting her unless she comes next to us, holding her is out of the question. It's hard to know if this is her personality or she just doesn't trust/know us yet? I'm trying to give her all the adjustment time she needs. Maya is 3 years old and came to us from a breeder. So I really don't know if she was handled alot. She is a delight to have just so playful a wonderful additon to our family. |
