Ain't that the truth!  Sounds like your year isn't going a heck of a lot better than mine.  I've become a big fan of "Jackson Galaxy", who seems to understand cat psychology better than anyone I know.  I think he puts up with a lot of unnecessary cat scratches to add a little drama to his show but he's a real problem solver.  You might accidentally get some good ideas there.  I'm sure I mentioned that my mother had a recurrence of cancer this year but she's apparently beat it...again.  She's 80 and in remarkably good shape but after 3 successful bouts with it she swears she's not going through the operations and the chemo again.  I do wish I could get back to Illinois to see her more often, but this year has been a series of below-the-belt punches and I've only got up there twice this year.  I think we both need a serious break!  John

Persues was not eating and had to go to the vet after 3 days. He has a blockage and received an enema and fluids. Waiting for it to pass as it is high up, but he has started to nibble again. THough this morning be was bloodly mecus out his reat.

Andromeda has refused to eat at all and this morning makes 3 full days. She will go to the vet today or tomorrow if we cannot figure this out and get her to eat.

Apollo, Nova and Orion have all been leaving varying amounts of food each meal for a while now.

APollo is still having the skin condition and he is itching some, but the meds we had hiim on were causing other issues and we stopped it 40 or so days ago.

We had changed their food (except Perseus) a few weeks ago as they are all 13/14 and some starting kidney issues. But more important is food, so I am picking up their old food today and we will see if that helps.

I have flown out to NJ too much this year, more times than the month #. But mom's COPD is pretty bad, her dimentia is worse. SHe is now in a nursing home and without getting into the whole story, I feel awful about it. He has also lost a good amount of weight, which does not please me much, though I should not be one to talk since I lost 60+ pounds myself and held it off since February. But the diabetes is controled, I fit in slim clothes now and I suppose that is a good thing.
