He must be. He'll bark like crazy at strangers and other dogs, although he seems to ignore the local cats. He doesn't bark at me now unless I get too close to the fence, so I just say "Hi" and leave him alone. John
He is used to you now?
I first moved here about 10 years ago and I soon noticed a small white dog at a house to the northeast of me, constantly patrolling a chain-link fence around their yard. It was an older couple from Ukraine who were constantly working a big garden between us. (There is a large number of recently arrived Ukranians in the area and nobody seems to know why.) Now their whole family tends the garden regularly and after 10 years, the little white dog still patrols the fence. He still seems to enjoy doing it and still seems to have plenty of energy. He just doesn't bark at me as often as he used to. I'm always glad to see him. John
