I thought about allergies.  The only thing that makes me think it may not be, was that it started in my chest.  Still a possibility.  John

Could it be allergies?

Yes, I'm still sick.  I should have kept better track but I think it's been almost a month now.  (That's not too unusual for me having a cold.  I get them rarely but they really hang on.)  I'm fairly sure it's not a flu.  I never got the achey muscles, chills or fever usually associated with the flu.  My temperature has in fact, been below normal.  It did start in my chest and as usual, worked its way into my nose.  I did feel run down and had no appetite, but I'm not as tired now and the appetite is back.  Now it's mostly just my nose.  And no, Cheri never did get anything.  John

John, are you still sick? Did Cheri get it?

David, glad to hear your mom is improving except for the weight loss.  I'm sure as she continues to feel better her appetite will return slowly.  She's still in my prayers.  Wishing her a Happy Mother's Day and a Happy Birthday!  Peggy

Great news that she's sounding better.  When I get sick from anything, which is rare enough, it always takes me a month to get over it, whether it's a simple cold or a flu.  I must be in about my third week of what I guess is a normal cold.  Cheri still hasn't caught it.  I haven't had much of an appetite but I haven't lost a quarter of my weight either.  (Not that it would hurt me to do that)  Hoping for the best.  (John)
