Until maybe 3 years ago I had to get up early for work but left to my own devices, I slipped pretty naturally right back to night hours. If I didn't have to work at all, I'd probably still be up all night. I've just always been that way unless I had to be up days. Glad the night hours are working for you. John
Hey John I have been a night owl and a day person both and can do either but there is less crap on night shift it usually takes a little while to adjust. Hi David and Peggy. Later Tim
Thank you Tim. Your hours sound more like mine now. Are you a natural night-owl or was it hard to adjust? John
Sorry to hear of the loss Cheri's dad I just haven't been online much my work schedule has changed and I have not adjusted to the new schedule yet am working from 6pm to 2am now. But you both are in my thoughts. Tim
Thanks so much everyone. After going to bed at 4:00 and getting up at 5:00 and being pretty much alone all day, I tried to carry on like normal. Had some orange juice, brewed a little coffee, did some reading, checked FaceBook, cleaned the house, did my push-ups and sit-ups, and even practiced some guitar. At about 11:30 it hit me and I realized I was almost playing in my sleep. I still carried on as normal, but went to bed about 2:00 AM, but last night I slept 10 hours.
I got up a few minutes after noon, and Cheri is out somewhere. (That's not at all unusual as she's a chronic shopper.) Not sure whether she's shopping or visiting her mother. I guess today will be another "normal" day, even if it's getting started a little later than usual. I did notice this morning you have a thick fog, and so do we. I also noticed both cats on the couch. Loves to everybody, John
John, I am so sorry for Cheri's loss. What a perfect way to go. It's hard to know what to do or say, but just being there for her means the world. She and her family are in my thoughts and prayers. Peggy
