We are getting plenty of rain from Tropical storm Fred we sure do need it there is a little water in the pond again it will not be enough to get us out of the drought but it will help. John You said when you only have weeds growing and that they are kneehigh thats what my yard was yesterday when I mowed no grass. Wish I could send it your way David to thelp with putting out the fires. And Hi Peggy . Later Tim

Rain is reason enough to celebrate.  Nowhere near a drought here but it's been just long enough since we had rain that my yard is getting that ragged and uneven look.  We're supposed to get more rain Thursday.  John

Well, wasn't I surprised!  A few hours after I posted that we got a nice, little thunderstorm.  I hadn't checked the weather for a couple of days but the last time I did, the weatherman was saying rain Thursday, so it was 2 days early.

I have to leave for the State Fair in about an hour and a half and honestly, I do not want to do this.  I'll be gone all day long, it'll be hot and muggy, and I don't feel like lugging that equipment around and lifting it up on that stage.  On the other hand, I could certainly use the extra money!  John
