I give credit where credit is due.  My weatherman does not have a great track record but he was right last night.  To be sure, the storm hit about 2 hours after he said it would but it did hit.  When I looked at the radar I thought it might pass north of us or we might get a little rain, but it didn't, and we got a lot of rain for about an hour.  It came down hard.  Not a lot of wind but a lot of lightning.  The rain only lasted about an hour but there was a good light show for the next 4 or 5 hours.  The temperature is a lot cooler today and it feels like we might just have a Fall after all.

I even bought a couple of nice pumpkins yesterday.  I have an inexplicable attraction to pumpkins.  Maybe from when I was a kid.  In a little over a week, it'll be time to decorate for Halloween, although a few neighbors just couldn't wait that long, and if you count pumpkins, I guess I couldn't either.  John

29?  You just live too far north!  Today it's supposed to be 70 and 45.  45 is cold enough.  Yesterday morning was the first time in months, it was chilly when I got up.  I'm fine with cool, not so good with cold.  John

It could be worse! I could be in Alaska and telling you it was 9f this morning! (laugh)

I always figured Alaska might be a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there.  By the way, I saw Perseus on the couch this morning.  John

Good! glad Perseus is being seen!

I just went to lunch. On the way back there was an older guy on a chopper and in a leather jacket. He had a LONG beard that was blowing up and past his head, trailing behind him! Funny!

Sadly, yesterday I saw a dead fox. :(
