We'll play during some pretty nasty weather but not if it's too snowy, icy or cold. The cold wouldn't matter so much but if it's cold enough, nobody will come out. Down around zero and nobody will come out, (unless it's New Year's Eve, and then people kind of expect it). In a real storm like this though, they're closing interstate highways. Tomorrow may be a different story but I don't know.
Sometimes the venue will cancel and sometimes we do. It's usually a mutual decision.
This morning I got up and looked out the window to see snow swirling off the neighbor's roof and the ground was covered. Last night I went to bed about 3:30 AM and it was windy but nothing was coming down. Now there's been a 60 degree swing in the temperature. There were still a few piles of snow left over from the last snow storm, even after a couple of 60 degree days, but this is supposed to be as bad or worse.
Most of our weather travels from southwest to northeast, so I'm figuring Peggy is getting the same thing, only worse. It's always at least 10 degrees colder in Chicago than it is here, and usually a lot snowier. John
