I'm so sorry you got sick. Never traveling by air, airports seem like a nightmare to me.
Cheri starts every day with plenty of energy but then runs down by the end of the day. We no longer have to get up 3 times in the middle of the night. Now that's down to about once a week. It's been so rough on her and there's plenty more to come. Last week she decided on new living room furniture. She found a good deal on what it was so $1000 later, we have new furniture. The biggest challenge there was getting the old furniture out and the new furniture in the house. We set the old furniture out in the yard for anyone to take as it still looked perfectly good, but then it rained on it for a week. It still looks great but if nobody picks it up, the city will haul it off this week.
The weather has been hot and cold, hot and cold, hot and cold, and this last week it rained every day, usually a light rain all day. Nice weather for getting sick, although I seem to be pretty much over whatever I had before. I guess I got it from the grandson. He works at McDonald's so he got Covid tested. Not Covid.
The furkids are all fine. Had an unusual day with Van Gogh a few days ago. Van Gogh always lays down with me face to face when I go to bed but after I go to sleep she always gets up. The other day she woke me up about the usual time laying face to face with me again, purring up a storm. She rarely purrs, maybe once or twice a year. Anyway, I finally got up and the first thing, she had knocked over a 44 ounce drink on the coffee table, narrowly missing a computer. Then I found that the grandson's dog had got out and drank all Van Gogh's water. That's why she knocked over Cheri's drink, trying to get something to drink. Then I went into the "red room", (my man-cave) and saw that Van Gogh had whorfed on the floor. That's something else she almost never does. Since then, everything's been perfectly normal. John
