Hey Tim.  Glad you had a great time at Riverdance.  I think they'd already been through Kansas City and I missed it.  ZZ Top is supposed to be in Sedalia in August and Cheri is after me to see that.  They're her favorite band.  KC and the Sunshine band is supposed to be here too.  Who knew they were still working?  I'm a little surprised they're still doing shows after Dusty Hill died, but their old sound man took his place and I'm sure nobody knows their shows better than him.

I heard yesterday that it was supposed to rain here for the first time in weeks today, so, I didn't feel like it but decided I'd better mow yesterday.  It was something over 90 degrees, hot and humid with absolutely no breeze, but I have to do it when I can,  It took 4 hours or so with a push mower.  I took a couple of breaks so as not to get too hot.  I had no idea how dried out the grass was because in places it was pretty tall.  The ground was hard as a rock.  Then about 2:00 AM the thunder started booming and I realized, yeah, I made the right decision.  John

So, after this you'll be able to say, "This ain't my first rodeo".  I went to the one in Cheyenne Wyoming.  I was amazed at how big it was.  John
