Yesterday I got a knock on the door. Someone from a couple blocks away were looking for their indoor cat who had escaped and were offering a $400 reward if we found it. (I could never take the reward.) Of course, I have some experience in indoor cats escaping so I offered some advice. Indoor cats don't usually travel far unless they're chased away by something so he's probably close by, hiding somewhere. I told them to put a cat ringtone on their phone and slowly walk around the neighborhood. It seems to draw cats out like a magnet. He's been missing though for 9 days now and the chances of finding him get slimmer every day. He's a beautiful, gray, neutered male, 6 years old. I sincerely hope they find him. The weather turned seriously cold since he got loose. John
Will they tell you if they do find him?

I kind of doubt it. They gave me a nice, 3 by 5 picture of him with the information on the back. I called to give them my advice so they have my number if they want to call. They're only 2 blocks away but there are a lot of neighborhood cats. I hope they find him but I'll probably never know. John
I hope you find out. Now I want to know. :)
Me too. To offer a $400 reward, go all over the neighborhood knocking on doors and passing out good pictures with all the information hand-written on the back, that means somebody seriously misses their kitty. In the picture he's wearing a tag but I can't see what's written on it. John
