Thanks Peggy, I'll need it on the way back. Got 3 hours sleep and I am bushed and won't be on the 11 hour drive till after 11am pst. Loading up on protein breakfast only, no sugar or carbs, should help.

hope you have a good turkey day and had a lot to be thankful for!

That's a lot of driving so don't get tired!  Last night on the way home from my brother's I was really too tired to be driving so I was glad it was only about 45 minutes away.

We had 2 Thanksgivings yesterday, one with Cheri's family and one with mine.  Karly turned out to be the chess star at both dinners.  She played the grandson at the first.  I think she was about to get beat but quit before it was over.  Then at my brother's, she played my neice...and won!  I would have thought my neice gave her a break but she asked me too many questions about moves, then she thought she was checkmated when she wasn't.  Then Karly thought she lost, but she didn't.  My neice finally resigned, which was just as well because she was doomed with only one Pawn left, while Karly had 3 Pawns, a Rook and a Bishop.  I ended up not playing at all, as my brother and our friend were too wrapped up in the football game and I didn't feel like staying till it was over.  That was just as well.  I wasn't sure I wanted to play them.

My neice had brought me a small, stone chess set she bought while she was in Jamaica last Summer.  The pieces are tiny and a little hard to recognize but it really looks nice.  That's the set she and Karly played on.

David, that's a long, long trip out there, so be careful!  Take your time and don't drive tired.  John

I'm using text to speech while I drive to post

So you ate twice?

I couldn't find one place open for me last night. All I had was a protein drink.

I got on the road today. Heading home later than I thought it's supposed to be a storm will be across the north west to Montana tomorrow. I've been trying to out run it. I started out in it

It was all rain on the Seattle side. Lots of rain and snow in the Cascades. After the cascades I passed it.

So it's behind me now.

I should get home about 10 o'clock tonight. Sadly, I did not get much sleep last night maybe three hours

Pocket croaking on my phone right nowI should get home about 10 o'clock tonight. Sadly, I did not get much sleep last night maybe three hours

Coffee and protein for my friend right now

i'll be fine I should be able to make it without a problem assuming the storm does not overtake me. Right now I'm just a heads up front do you want eastern Montana? I have the worst coffee on the planet. I can't wait to reach Idaho and Montana, her real coffee again.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!
