There were of course, gifts behind gifts that you can't see.  I got 2 and Cheri got one.  I think there were more last year but this year included some more expensive items.  I spent 4 hours setting up new phones and tablets.  The furkids missed out this year.  Everything was unwrapped but the kids will still spend days opening everything to play with it.  None of these gifts included the ones to my family, which I haven't even put out yet!  If there's a headache to all this, it's wondering where we're going to put it all.  My "man-cave" is a wreck.

The phones were Samsungs.  The tablets were some off-brand, definitely not Apples. but without looking I can't remember what they were.  Karly handed me a headache when she entered her age, which meant I had to jump through all kinds of parental supervision hoops.

The kids got everything they asked for, (and a lot more) except for Karly who wanted a new baby sister.  Aside from being beyond anything Santa Claus can do about it, she only gave him a month's notice.  She'll have to talk to her Mom and Dad about that.  She was pretty happy with what she got though, a second phone, a tablet, roller blades, a keyboard, and a ton of other stuff.  But no baby sister.  John
