Kitty on the couch! That's a rare treat.
Cheri usually goes to bed before me. She's a morning person and I'm a night owl. She sleeps on one side and Van Gogh sleeps on the other. Van Gogh always sleeps by my pillow. Used to be when I went to bed it was almost a fight to get her to move. There was hissing, clawing and biting. I eventually learned to slowly pull the blanket down and her with it. She wasn't happy about it but it was safer for me. She finally learned how it works though. Now I just walk in, she stands up and walks over to my end table and waits for me to lay down. (It's always warm where she was laying.) Then when I'm settled, she walks back over and curls up in front of my face.
After 10 or 20 minutes, she always gets up and walks away. What she does I have no idea. After another 10 or 20 minutes she'll come back and lay down infront of my face again. It's a welcome, nightly ritual. John
