A street runs past the house from west to east and on one side from north to south, but that street ends in a T. As many cats as I've seen in the neighborhood, and as fast as cars run east and west, I'm surprised I don't see more squirrels and cats killed nearby. In fact, it almost never happens. This one I hadn't even named yet and never got his picture. He didn't get along well with the one who stays here and I had to make sure I fed them separately. I noticed he always came and went from the east and one block to the east is a busier street. That's where he was hit.
The other cat, whom Karly and I have named Taylor, comes and goes from the north where he, (or she) doesn't have to cross any streets. Now of course, I'll be extra careful taking care of him, but living outdoors is always dangerous and always a worry. He was outside waiting for breakfast this morning. John
