Thanks David, and happy Thanksgiving to everybody!

I spent the day with Cheri's family.  I got pretty lucky in the inlaw department.  Her Mom just lives 5 or 6 blocks away.

Was cold last night.  It rained yesterday and last night there was a little ice on the cars.  Today it barely got up to 35 but it sure didn't feel like it.  Felt like 11.

Taylor got her Thanksgiving dinner before we left, and another one when we got back.  Piggy got his dinner a little late.  Van Gogh just feasts around the clock.  She's still been sleeping in my face every night, and it's still the nicest part of my day.  John

A day late, but Happy Thanksgiving to you, David, John and Tim. It was bitter cold here in Chicago. Went to my nephew's for Thanksgiving dinner. He lives around Addison Avenue and Oak Park Avenue. A very good neighborhood on the north west side of Chicago. Peggy

Lounging around with the kitties sounds like a great day.  Most of my family and I aren't very close these days and I'm lucky Cheri's family is so accepting, although I'd have been OK just lounging around with the furkids too, which aside from a few hours, was just about all I did.

Van Gogh used to only sleep with me when the weather got cold, but she slept with me all this summer and still is.  She sleeps next to my pillow until I come to bed.  Then she gets up, moves out of the way until I lay down, then cuddles up in my face.  I don't know why she's decided she likes sleeping there.  I can't sleep on the same side all night, so when I roll over, she climbs over me and lays back next to my face again.  It's a cute face to wake up to.

Cheri went out Black Friday shopping at 5:00 in the morning and got back about noon, which was about when I got up.  I have no idea what she bought, except for a pair of boots for Karly.  She's a little like a cat.  She sleeps a lot but when she wakes up, she has boundless energy.  I can't imagine where it comes from.  John
