Hi David! Think I want to move out by you as it has been a very hot summer here in Chicago. Lots of mid to upper 90s with high humidity. My a/c has been running nonstop. The kids at Fremd High School in Palatine went back today. Thankfully, the school is air-conditioned. I am so ready for fall!!! Peggy and Laila

Wow, school already? Am I remembering my youth wrong when I thought it started in early September?

I miss a hot summer a bit, but soon there is no way we will get the heat as it will be time for the season cool down.

Seems like all of the school districts here have different start dates. I think Chicago schools don't start until September. In Kansas City, we didn't start until after Labor Day and the one year, my senior year, I went to Palatine high school we started in September. But that was many many decades ago. Peggy

My weather seems to be more like Chicago than usual.  90s and muggy, but with lots of rain.  Good rainforest weather.  I really don't remember when we started school in Chicago.  It was always just a week or so after we'd get back from family vacations.  I'm not sure about Kansas City itself, but here, school starts next week, and I've got to get these nightowl kids to switch their days and nights.  John

Hey David Hope you are well You can send them 69/70 here anytime that is usually comfortable to me. Been miserable here high 90's and high humidity like in Chicago high indexes around 110 took me 2 days to mow last week little cooler this week mid to upper 80's and am mowing it again today but should finish today started around noon it's 517 now 2/3 done but will go back at it around 730/800. School started here last week but I always remember when I was in school it started in September too. Hi to Peggy and John hope you are both good are you playing at the fair yet John. Bad news for a friend/ former coworker he called said his wife passed away this morning knew it was coming but still sad for him. Take care everybody. Tim
