Hi David Peggy and John I hope this doesn't upset you too much David but do you ever hear anything about Perseus when I got here today I saw his picture and made me wonder about him. If this bothers you I am sorry and just delete this. John I hope the fair shows went well and you are recovering well from the work and heat. And hope all is well in Illinois for Peggy. Take Care y'all. Tim

Hey Tim.  I wonder about Perseus too.  Hope everything's OK.

I'm recovered from the Fair.  I probably shouldn't have been so lazy Sunday but it's so easy to make excuses.  I'm getting back to the normal swing of things now.  Took one of the kids to the "open house" at his school today.  Not sure what day they start back up but it's coming up quick.  John

I ask about him from time to time. I know he has some back issues and his kidneys are starting to not work well and he has to have fluids a few times a week now. It bothers me, but I know he is in good hands.

Thanks John I am glad you have recovered it doesn't hurt to be lazy sometimes 6 hours of playing in the heat and then having to load up all the equipment and then drive home and unload when you get there. Tim

Thanks David For telling us about Perseus Going by his bio he is 15 years old now but it is always sad to watch them age. Noah is my oldest at 11 and the rest are from 1 to 8 years. So at my age of 66 years this will probably be my last ones if I do take in any others they will be senior cats I have taken in older cats before and they were good cats who deserved a home not to be in the Animal Shelter.Tim

David, I'm glad you're able to keep posted about Perseus and I'm glad he's in good hands.  15 seems to be about the time problems start popping up.  Van Gogh is 10 now.  I've always let my cats graze 24/7, with healthier food once a day.  Van Gogh really seemed to chunk up on that Petsmart food though.  She's not morbidly obese yet but I think we didn't run out of it any too soon.

Tim, I'm a little older than you at 68, and I think adopting older kitties is a great idea, regardless.  Cats always seem to find me though, or I'll find one that I know won't make it without me, like Monster.  Taylor is one of those who just found me, and I can't begin to guess how old she is.  If I had to guess, I'd say she was no longer a kitten, but probably not more than a few years old.  If anything ever happened to me Cheri said she'd take care of Van Gogh, but we've never talked about Taylor.  I need to ask the grandkids about that.  John
