It's snowing!  Well, not where I am, but here.  It's cold, but no snow where I am.  Did anyone else get dumped on by today's winter storm?  Lady Bootsie?  Peggy?  Tim?  David?

Yes, time to turn on the snow. :)

No snow yesterday here, but the weather report for today was claiming snow. Let me look again in case it changed.... Hmm, yesterday they said 2 to 6 inches today, now it says:

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM MST
SATURDAY...
* WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations between 1 and 3 inches
in the valleys with up to 6 inches in the mountains. Winds gusting
as high as 35 mph.
* WHERE...Portions of central, north central, and southwest Montana.
* WHEN...Until 5 AM MST Saturday.

So I suspect we will get snow, just not sure how much.

I'm right on the line between getting a lot of snow and no snow at all, so I don't know how it's going to end up.  St. Louis is supposed to get 4 inches and Kansas City isn't expecting any.  Here, it's a coin flip.  As long as there's no ice!  John

I just heard Chicago is expecting snow tomorrow! Peggy, how much?

 David, it is snowing here in Chicago now and started a few hours ago and isn't supposed to let up until tomorrow morning sometime. They are predicting between 8"-12". As I always say, I'll believe it when I see it. Thankfully, I don't have to get out in it. Got the heat turned up so Laila and I plan to spend the weekend curled up on the couch under a  blankie.
