A long time ago in the early 2000’s, I used to make cat condos and give them to shelters when they had auction events. I found 2 images of one made about 2001. I finishedit and was taking a couple pictures of it and ^Hamlet^ jumped right on it as I took the images and he made himself at home. ?? Some were taller than this one. I used good wood, 4" diameter wood posts, sisal and nice carpet. They were heavy duty, not like the lightweight junk you find in the pet stores today. I wonder if any are still in use? With mine, if they carpet is shredded up, I take them apart, buy new carpet and pattern it to the original and recarpet them, because the frame is so sturdy you get another 10+ years out of them that way and they are like brand new.

Those look great!  I'd be surprised if most of them weren't still around making kitties comfortable.  John

I hope so. I may consider making them again, who knows. They are not as intricate as attachments so easier on my finders. ;)

Really?  I'd have thought they'd be harder to make.  They looked terrific.  John
