Cheri has been in misery for the last few days with a tooth problem.  She finally got in today to get them looked at.  It got to the point where she couldn't eat anything.  Even soup hurt because it hurt to open her mouth.  It reminded me a lot of when I had the impacted wisdom tooth last year.  She went to the dentist and I had my phone on in case she needed a ride back.  She came back this afternoon, minus 2 teeth and in absolute agony.  I was surprised they didn't give her antibiotics first, as pulling infected teeth can be dangerous.  She took some pain pills but if they help at all, it'll be a while.  Wish I could do something but there's really nothing I can do.  John

OUCH! Sorry. Having 2 pulled at once.

And you still had wisdom teeth? I had all four pulled when I was 18 I think.

She's feeling much better tonight.  Even ate a fish sandwich, which must have been tricky as it was her 2 lower incisors that went.  She'd been having trouble with loose teeth ever since she had chemotherapy.

I just had the one wisdom tooth left, and it had never broken through.  The infection started under the skin.  It was a miserable time and I don't ever remember hurting as bad as I did when he took it out.  I actually kept it.  It looked as though maybe half of it had decayed away.  When I think of the agony that little sucker caused, I could well sympathize with what Cheri was going through.  John

I am glad CHeri was able to eat and was hungry.

I remember I kept my wisdom teeth after they were removed. Though over the last 40+ years, I have no idea what ever happened to the little brown envelope with them. I may have thrown them out at some point, I just cannot remember.
