I have no idea how it accidentally got turned on.  It's the first time it ever was and it turned out pretty clear.  Glad I didn't say anything stupid!  The audio cue helped to check the video and I checked it over and over, but just couldn't see it.  John

You should edit the audio so you say "Look! A street light!"

I used to see them close to the house once in a while but not for several years.  I hated I didn't catch that on the dash-cam but I watched it over and over and just couldn't see it.  It takes some doing to turn on the dash-cam microphone but somehow I accidentally did it.  You can clearly hear me saying "Deer." and Cheri saying "Yep."  but you can't see anything but street lights.  John

We had 5 deer (a mother and 4 younger ones) by the house today. Not running and not dark, but not often I see so many young ones with a single mom.

A few nights ago Cheri and I were on our way back from dinner in town, about 8:30, and we saw a deer go bounding across the street.  I live on the southern edge of towm, (that is, the southern edge of this part of town) and the deer was about 4 blocks north and a block west of here.  It was headed south, out of town, and had about 4 blocks of houses to work around.  I had the dash-cam going but when I looked at it, it was just too dark to see anything.  We barely saw him as it was, and of course, I slowed way down in case there were more, but I didn't see any.  John
