I'm actually surprised at how little she's bothered it.  The aluminum tree is nowhere near as stable as the old green one, and I think when she knocked it over, she may have got the idea it was coming after her!  I don't think anyone else is as crazy about the aluminum tree as I am, (probably because I had one when I was a kid) so next year I'll put it to a vote.  Plastic or aluminum.  John

Not long after I said everyone was leaving the Christmas tree alone, Karly knocked it over.  Decorations went everywhere.  The next day, the cat knocked it over.  I actually caught it before it hit the ground but still, decorations flew off and there was a trail of decorations clear across the room.  No damage and the tree looks the same as it ever did.  I think I need to block it with presents.  John
