Tim, big pat on the back for taking such good care of Blackberry.  I wish I could say otherwise but of all the countless cats I've had, none ever made 17.  I did get back last night just fine, although I was gone all of 12 hours.  I got back at 4:00 AM.  We were in Kansas City Kansas  New Year's Eve this year, I'm right here in town, 10 or 15 minutes from the house.  Nice change from the 2 hour trips to Kansas.

Peggy, I think downtown Chicago is architecturally a beautiful and impressive city, but at night, I've never seen a city so beautifully lit up as Kansas City, with whole skyscrapers lit up in bright blues and reds.  I don't know whether it was that way when you lived there or not.  John

I am fine John just sitting with Blackberry as much as possible I am pretty worried about her she is approx 17and half years old. You be careful on your trip. It has been cold and rainy in Knoxville but supposed to be warm next week with rain early in the week. Tim

Hey Tim, I've been worrying about you as we hadn't seen you for a while.  Supposed to be a fairly nice day today which is good, as I have to be all the way over in Kansas tonight.  Still a lot of snow and ice left after the storm a few days ago and whenever a car drives by the house, you can hear the ice crunching.  John
