I guess that means it's an official panic. John
Forgot to ask, WHY are people now buying out guns and ammo? They planning to rob people to get toilet paper?
You are right, and soon people will start beliving their seasonal allergies are the virus too.
You and I were posting at the same time. People here seem to be reacting a little more sharply. Stores here are more empty, and where my business is essentially gregarious, I could tell it this weekend. The first case in Missouri was in St. Louis, then Springfield, then in Clinton, a small town about 30 miles from me. Honestly though, it is flu season anyway and I bet a lot of people think they have it when they just have your common, garden variety flu. John
How is everyone doing? Managing to keep at home most of the time? Finding food/supplies needed? How empty are your stores?
Our stores are just mostly out of cleaning stuff, sanitizers, toilet paper.
Yesterday I noted shelves at 3 stores were either out of or below 10% of pasta, pasta sauce, rice, beans and breads.
My bro-in-law MAY have it out on the east coast. Sick, dry cough....
Friday morning we had no cases in MT, by Friday night we had 4. This morning has 6 confirmed cases in MT.
It is times like this I AM glad I work totally alone in a rented building with no one in it BUT me.
Only major changes to life out here I noted so far is the diocese of Helena dispensed with the Sunday obglation for mass. Restuarants and hangouts still open. I find having the casinos still open stupid since people sit and slap machine buttons or pull arms and I doubt someone is sanitizing them after every use, but of course I do not know since I do not gamble and don't go to these places. ;)
