Glad to hear that.  I can't imagine what Chicago must be like now.  Or even Kansas City, since I haven't been there since this all started.  The only thing that's seemed even remotely normal in the last 2 weeks is that I could hear everybody in the neighborhood mowing their yards.  (And they could hear me.)  John

I am glad you are doing well overall. We are fine out here. Like you we are under "lockdown". Seems Montana may be about to stop rentals of vacation homes and cabins. The government took notice that there is now a big spike in requests to rent them for 6 months to a year and many originating from New York.

We are stocked enough at home and the cats seem to have enough food. I did have to get special foods at the vet Friday and the vet is no longer allowing anyone in the building. THe doors are locked. I had to call them and they brought the food to the door for me and I had to pay via phone and get an emailed receipt. THey are taking pets, but you have to bring cats to the door and dogs they come out and put a leash on them and walk them in. I am not complaining at all, I suppose it is good they are open and looking out for thie employees.

Keep in touch on conditions there and how you and Laila are fairing.

David - thanks for asking.  Am doing well.  Only go out for food.  Luckily the huge crowds have calmed down at the two stores I've been frequenting and everyone is keeping that six feet apart.  Have a disinfecting ritual when getting in the car and bringing the groceries in so feel confident I'm staying safe.  Been doing a lot of visiting via text.  Once in a while I start to freak out but "this too shall pass" saves the day.  It's really like a ghost town out there.

Laila seems to be handling things well.  She's well stocked.

Hope you, the cats and Donna okay. Stay safe and well!
