With the snow there it is good no deer were on the roads for a bit, and I hope the 2 deer at home mean you will start to see them more often now, at home I mean.

Last night I got to work right here in town but the night before, I had to go clear down to the Lake Of The Ozarks.  It was an hour and a half drive, through mostly rural highways bordered on either side by woods.  It's really nerve wracking, watching and worrying about deer jumping out every inch of the way.  I got all the way down and back without seeing one deer, then just as I got home, right next door to my house, 2 deer came out of the neighbor's yard and crossed in front of me!  I was slowing down to make my turn and there they were!  They used to come up in the yard all the time but it's been a couple of years now.  Glad to see them back and I'd rather see them here than along a highway.  John
