I thought he sounded familair. There are some topics about him from 2009!
David and the CoolCyberCats
The cat in the picture was Igor. Igor was born under my house. I didn't know it until one day I heard mewing and went to investigate. It's very dark under the house and even with a flashlight I couldn't see anything but I could still hear them. There is only about 3 feet, (less than one meter) of space under the house so I slowly crawled oward the sound. There were 4 newborn kittens spread out over about 4 yards, (4 meters). They were so tiny I almost crushed one before I saw it, The noise had gone on about a day and apparently the mother had disappeared, probably killed by a neighborhood dog, so I gathered up the kittens and brought them in the house.
I took care of them overnight but had no experience with newborns, so the next morning I took them to the vet. The vet took care of them for about 24 hours but 3 of them didn't make it. Only Igor was left.
The vet then showed me how to take care of Igor, which included wiping his bottom and bottle feeding him every 4 hours, and keeping him on a heating pad. Igor grew up strong and healthy, and some friends of mine just had to have him so, as I already had 20 cats to care for, Igor moved in with them. (They actually took that picture for me.) Sadly, at about 3 years old, Igor escaped from their house and disappeared about 10 years ago. This is Igor at less than a month old.
ANdromeda sleeps on my chest OR side and Apollo does the same (so I am usually poinned down from my chect and side). Nove will often sleep next to my head. Orion is not one to sleep up against me, but on the bed near the end.
Leo used to sleep next to my head. Hamlet was always curled up next to me.
Andromeda licks us all the time. It is more annoying to Donna than me, but I admit I can ony take so much of it. Be she join us on the couch and then wants to lick our hands and arms, or licking my hands or face in bed.... She is the ony one who really does that a lot.
Funny, the couch in the photo looks like the old one we had about 17 years ago, it had 2 build in lounge chairs. Leo loved to sit on the top of that couch.
Is this a picture of Van Gogh?
That's very 'cute' of het that she sleeps next to your face! Loewie and Zowie sleep on the bed wih me, but never so close to my face. Usually Zowie sleeps besides me, so before I feel asleep I can pet her. And Loewie sleeps next to my feet.
