I never realized you didn't have fleas at all.  Fleas like it in the shade and in an arid area like you're in, there's probably not enough vegetation to hide in.  They like hanging out in the grass and even if you never let your cats outside, you can carry them in on your pants legs.  I've been really fortunate not to have any for a few years.  When we do get them, they chew me to pieces and strangely, they won't touch Cheri.  I'm just that tasty.  John

I have no had to worry about fleas in a long time. I once found some when I was in Illinios and freaked and bombed the house. DId not have them again after that. Out here in Montana, fleas are not found and my vet says that they cannot live in the cold weather we get, thus no worry. Ticks, that is a different story. We have them out here, but we never had them in the house or on the kitties.

Duct tape, pie pans, water and dish soap.  Every once in a while I'm overrun with fleas.  Fleas seem to think I'm a delicacy.  They'll chew me to pieces while leaving everyone else alone.  I kept a small square of duct tape around and every time I'd see a flea on my leg, I'd push the duct tape down on it.  I'd catch so many fleas that way, I had to keep changing out the squares of duct tape.

Another trick that helped was taking 2 or 3 pie pans, putting a little water in them and setting them around on the floor when I went to bed.  Put a few drops of dish soap in the water.  Without the dish soap, fleas would jump into the pans and just sit on the surface.  The dish soap broke the surface tension of the water and the fleas would drown.  (I know it's rough on the fleas but as they say, they drew first blood, and I know that a flea infestation can kill a cat.)  Every morning I would find a bunch of fleas in the bottom of the pie pans.

I also put a few drops of flea poison on the cat's necks because not all the fleas would leave the cats for a taste of me, but between the duct tape, the soapy water and the poison, I always managed to get rid of them.  Amazingly, it's been a few years since I had any fleas but I'm ready for them!  John

If this keeps happening, try contacting the website’s owner. it also sent me to the store like David said it did to Peggy but all is well again and I am glad to be back.I am battling a terrible flea problem can't seem to get rid of them have spent over a 1500 $ treating the cats and pro pest control treatment of the house we live in.  Tim

No, the issue was a bit more complex. For some reason some computers seems to like using ipv6 and those people could not even get to the website. It sounds like TIm was getting an error. Peggy was always rerouted to www.coolcyberstore.com. She was a great help in helping me figure out the issue and fixing it though. :)

Wow!  Welcome back to everybody!  I had no idea anything was wrong.  I've just been popping in everyday, wondering what happened to everybody.  Glad you're all back!

Tim, I appreciate you thinking about my loss and I'm so sorry about yours.  We lost them just 18 days apart.

So glad everybody is back!  John
