Each year about 7.3 million cats and dogs end up in U.S. shelters; 2.7 million will be euthanized. That's one cat or dog every 11.68 seconds!

Number killed since midnight Jan 2000: .

You have been on this webpage for 1 second. In that time 1 more animal has been euthanized.

Each dog and cat is guilty of failing to find a loving home; but you can make a difference. Support TNR, adopt your next pet from or support a no-kill shelter.
