I actually counted the Knight moves. 64, one for each square. I noticed a weird star-like pattern in each corner. I'm sure if I were to try it, I'd end up hitting a lot of the same squares multiple times.
The car said it was 17 degrees when we went to Dairy Queen last night. There were several of Karly's classmates there, while most went to McDonald's, and I just didn't think I could handle that. Oddly, all I had to eat yesterday was a small DQ sundae and a piece of pumpkin pie. Just never got hungry.
As I suspected, last night I was in bed about 2 hours before I had to get up and get the kids to school. The bus stops for one but we have to drive in the other. It was about 15 degrees when I started the car. When I got back, I stayed up another hour then went back to bed.
The messed up schedules have also meant I've been ignoring the chess lately. I'm currently at a horrific 6 losses in a row, and lost a ton of Elo points. My latest loss was to England. Since I miss so many nights because I run out of time, I downloaded a chess program that I can play faster games on. (I don't have to wait on anybody to move.) It won't give or take away my rating but it tells me the rating I'm playing against. Should take up for those nights I don't have time to wait on humans. I could do the same thing on my phone but I prefer the big screen. John
