I use Norton (been using for at least 8 years). Here is an article from PCMag on the best ones: PC Mag

They say Bitdefender is best over all, Norton for extra features, McAfee for single PC homes.

I use the 10 device one because I have so many computers. You phone will also be covered as a device. So if you just have a couple computers and a cell phone, the 3 device one works fine.

We use 3 computers and since Christmas, 2 Chromebooks and I have to admit, I don't know the first thing about Chromebooks.  John

Chromebooks, are they still a thing? That are really glorified browsers and just use Googles suite for everything.

The kid's Chromebooks have as big a screen as my laptop.  As little as I understand it, they're mostly for schoolkids, with limited capabilities.  I know they're common in the schools.  I really haven't explored what they can or can't do and so far, all the kids really use them for is watching videos.  They're also considerably less expensive than a conventional computer, which is the biggest reason each of them got one.  John
