John,   I was ready to hide in the closet with Bootsie and Pete...things got really bad with wind, rain, hail, and the thunder and lightning was louder than the 4th of July...it lasted about 20 minutes...no damage except for alot of branches strewn about...my nerves are calmed down today !!!

I watch a live weather channel called "Max Velocity" and I could see a lot of rough weather headed your way, but I never knew whether it got that far.  I got a lot of heavy rain and lightning but no wind.  The roll of thunder was constant.  I usually count between lightning strikes to see how far away it is but the thunder was so continuous I couldn't tell.  I'm glad all you got was some downed tree branches, and you didn't have to resort to the closet.  John
