Driving in the dark to the gym on the highway (federal so fenced in) I saw a deer standing in the left passing lane. I am glad I did see her it made me look where she was looking and I had to do a hard swerve to miss her baby! Scared me swerving like that at 80mph. I did miss and I prayed no one hits her or the baby deer.

At 80 that would be scary. When I played down in "Hooterville", (or maybe it was Bugtussle) I was surprised that out there in the middle of nowhere, I never saw any deer, all the way down or back. John
Thankfully I do not see them all that much on the main highway, but there are everywhere else.
