Maybe it's just a matter of perception, (I've never kept a written record) but my electricity seems to be going out a lot more often than it used to. It went out this morning, only for about 5 minutes, but that was long enough to knock out all my clocks, and stop my internet, which didn't come back on when the electricity did. I had to wake up the grandson, twice, to reset the modem and router. (It didn't work the first time.) First, we called the internet to see if it was an area wide outage or just us, and we were told, (by a machine) to get on Spectrum.net to find out, which was a singularly stupid thing to suggest. Get on the internet to see if my internet is out.
Once in a while some goober will run into an electric pole and of course, the electricity goes out. Most of the time though, I have no idea why it goes out, as was the case today. It's obviously been hot here for the longest time, for weeks it's been in the 90s and maybe that had something to do with it. I know my air conditioner has been sucking up the juice. John
